Policyholders can purchase up to $2M.
Regardless of the level of protection you choose, your limit for personal liability coverage in event of a loss you are legally liable for can be purchased up to $2M.

Available levels of protection:
Comprehensive
Superior protection that provides all risk coverage on the unit as well as all risk coverage on your personal property.
"All Risks" coverage is our most comprehensive level of coverage and is designed to protect your property from the broadest range of perils.
*Note: "All Risks" coverage provided by Optimum and the insurance industry is still subject to certain exclusions. Please speak to your insurance broker for more details.
Broad
This broad protection provides all risks coverage on your strata unit as well as named perils coverage on your personal property.
Seasonal condominium
This protection, especially designed for seasonal strata units, provides named perils coverage on the unit and Fire & EC coverage on personal property.
Rented condominium
Both all risks and named perils coverage options could be available for the strata units that you own and rent to others. Please speak to your broker for more details.
Optimum prestige extension
This extension provides many valuable extensions of coverage including enhanced coverage, increased limits for identity fraud expenses, as well as claims free protection (premium will not increase due to the first loss).
